  It’s exam season! I’m the only one in our house who’s not sitting any, but I’m working as well as living with students in revision turmoil. My latest blog (link in IG profile) has a few tips to keep reading under control.
  
  New on the blog today (link in profile). There’s so much talk around #ExecutiveFunction, and so much misinformation.! It’s important to understand the interplay between different strands and aspects, and to recognise the role of emotions. Nothing is likely to be fixed or constant.
  
  I’m on the EF warpath! There’s a graphic doing the rounds that claims ADHD means a 30% age-related delay in #ExecutiveFunction. It’s a gross over-simplication at best and risks dangerous misrepresentation. EF is a construct we use to describe the functions of the pre-frontal cortex. There are dozens of claimed functions, with different experts labelling between 3 and 33 separate or overlapping aspects. I’ll be posting a blog with more info VERY soon , but in the meantime, please don’t fall for this 30% disabling nonsense!
